Emergency Room Tech | Full-Time

Performs duties to support the Emergency Department and patient care functions.
Under the general direction of guidance of the ED Registered Nurs, the Emergency Room Technician (ERT) functions as an integral part of the patient care team.
Performs to the level of the scope of practice for the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) held by the ERT.
Requirements Hold and maintain in good standing an Idaho Emergency Medical Technician license or certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant by the State of Idaho Current BLS certification.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent standing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting/turning from waist pushing/pulling objects on rollers/wheels bending.
Frequent walking, reaching above shoulder level, moving objects horizontally (left to right) and vertically (up and down) up to 25 lbs, sometimes up to 50 lbs, employees are to ask for assistance when lifting more than 50 lbs, limited sitting.
Frequent handling (holding, grasping, working with hands), fine finger manipulation (pinching, picking, working with fingers).
